Is Wicklow boat owner blocking Skyfest plans?
THE ORGANISERS of Wexford's National Lottery Skyfest and St. Patrick's Festival have spread an appeal as far as Wicklow in the hope that one of the owners of five boats blocking the harbour may hail from the Garden County.
These boats are in the firing zones near the Ferrybank and Wexford Bridge. One boat is a white yacht approx 2834ft with a furling Genoa and navy sail cover, located near the ballast bank on a mooring close to the Harbour mouth.
Another is a yacht with a navy hull and teak trimming with white decking, approx 28ft with a blue and orange name cloth, located on a mooring near the Ferrybank at the harbour mouth.
There is also a white catamaran yacht, with a white sail cover, approx 20-22ft, located close to Wexford Bridge on a mooring and a black steel fishing boat with white aft cabin and brown bridge house, approx 36-42 ft. located close to the bridge.
The final vessel is a small white open deck fishing boat on the riverside of the bridge on a mooring.
If you own these boats or know who does can you please contact the harbour master at Kilmore, Captain Phil Murphy.
