CHIL­DREN ART CLASSES

Chil­dren's arts and craft classes take place on Satur­day morn­ings from 10.30 a.m. un­til 12 noon. Open to ages of 4-8 years. Book­ing is es­sen­tial. Con­tact Brock­agh Cen­tre on (0404) 45600.

KIDS EASTER CAMP

The Brock­agh Kids Easter Camp takes place on Tues­day 19th April to Fri­day 22nd April from 9.15a.m. un­til 1.30 p.m. Ac­tiv­i­ties in­clude Freck­les McGoo Mu­si­cal Theatre, El­e­va­tion Hip Hop, Imag­i­na­tion Gym, Yoga, Arts & Crafts and Fun and Games.

This is suit­able for 6-10 year olds. Cost 50 euro. Phone the Brock­agh Cen­tre on (0404) 45600 to book a place.

GDDA MEET­ING

The AGM of the Glen­dalough and District De­vel­op­ment As­so­ci­a­tion will be held on 20th April at 8pm in the Brock­agh Cen­tre. All wel­come. New mem­bers are needed.

KIRI­KEE DRAMA

Kiri­kee Drama are back again this year in the Brock­agh Cen­tre on Fri­day 29th and Satur­day 30th April at 8.30 p.m. Kiri­kee Drama group are well known for their com­edy per­for­mances which have the au­di­ences rolling with laugh­ter and this year it looks like it will be an­other ex­cep­tional per­for­mance.

The group will per­form the com­edy ‘Drink­ing Habits’ by Tom Smith. Sub­terfuge, ac­cu­sa­tions, mis­taken iden­ti­ties, and ro­mances run wild in this tra­di­tional, laugh-out-loud farce. Two nuns at the Sis­ters of Per­pet­ual Sewing have been se­cretly mak­ing wine to keep the con­vent's doors open, but is their se­cret about to be un­cov­ered? Are Paul and Sally re­ally spies from Rome sent to shut the con­vent down?

Wine and se­crets are in­evitably spilled as ev­ery­one tries to pre­serve the con­vent and re­con­nect with lost loves. Keep these dates in your di­ary.

CAR BOOT SALE

The next Car Boot Sale will take place on Sun­day 3rd April from 11am un­til 4pm. Vans must be booked in. Car Boot Sales will take on the 1st Sun­day of the month. Con­tact the Brock­agh Cen­tre on 040445600.

JEB COURSE

Laragh IT are still tak­ing names for a pos­si­ble JEB course to run this year. This course of­fers a recog­nised teach­ing qual­i­fi­ca­tion where par­tic­i­pants will ac­quire the skills and knowl­edge to teach ICT us­ing a com­pe­tent and pro­fes­sional ap­proach.

MO­BILE LI­BRARY

The mo­bile li­brary is in Laragh ev­ery sec­ond Thurs­day from 11.30am un­til 12.30pm. The next dates ais Thurs­day 24th March.

TUES­DAY NIGHT DANCE

Tues­day night is dance night at the Brock­agh Cen­tre from 9.30 pm till late with the Wick­low Man.

AA MEET­INGS

Closed AA Meet­ings are held in the Brock­agh Re­source Cen­tre in Laragh at 8.30 p.m. ev­ery Mon­day night. If you think that you may have a prob­lem with al­co­hol please come along.

JUNE BUS TOUR

A 10 day tour of Aus­tria, St An­ton and Lake Con­stance takes place from 29th June to 8th July. Coach and cruise (no fly­ing). Places to visit are Rot­ter­dam Ger­many, Bavaria, Inns­bruck, Switzer­land and Black For­est. We will visit the largest wa­ter­fall in Europe, the Rhine Falls. LADIES SOC­CER

St Kevin's Ladies will be hold­ing their awards Night in Lyn­hams ho­tel on the sat 26th of march ev­ery­one wel­come for a great night, please come and sup­port the girls.
