Captains Drive In: Our Captains Frank Quaid and Margo Doyle held their drive in last Sunday in marvellous weather conditions, making their entrance in a balloon decorated buggy, as champagne bottles popped they got a great cheer as they both powered their golf balls up the first fairway. There was a huge gallery and the odd bit of banter among members to see they got off to a flying start. 60 people played, the course was in great shape and was a credit to the greenkeeping staff. There was also a great turnout afterwards in the clubhouse for the presentation of prizes where everyone was treated to fine food and we pass on our compliments on to the Caterers.
