Bray People - - NEWS - MARY FOGARTY

X-FACTOR STAR Olly Murs was in Bray at the weekend to perform on the final of the All-Ireland Talent Show.

Fans waited outside Ardmore Studios to try to catch a glimpse of the star, who sang two songs on what was the last show of the season.

The 26-year-old came second in the UK talent programme in 2009.

Our own intrepid photographer Barbara Flynn nearly made it in to snap the singer, only to be politely shown the door by studio security.

‘With my Irish Bray fans,' Olly posted on his Twitter account during Sunday, followed by ‘Great to be back in Ireland, love it here. Seriously love it,' and ‘Buzzing. Do love all the fans, thanks for my prezzies. Loved the show as well. Wish all the talent and the winner all the best!' Thirteen-year-old Wexford boy-soprano Daniel Furlong won the competition.
