Application made for pavilion refurbishment
AN APPLICATION has been made to Bray Town Council for refurbishments to the fire-ravaged pavilion changing room on the Temple Vevay Sports Field.
The application, which was made on February 16, includes extension and alterations to the existing single storey soccer changing room pavilion building into a two storey building with a new main entrance extension.
The new extension at first floor level will have three administration rooms, one kitchenette, a store room, and plant room, while the ground floor will include four soccer changing rooms, one referee changing room, and a disabled toilet.
The pavilion, located on O'Byrne Lane, off Vevay Road, is to have 12 parking spaces. A decision is due on April 12.
An arson attack gutted the changing facility in June 2008. Three clubs - Wolfe Tone Celtic, Glenview FC and Sugarloaf FC were using the building at the time of the attack.
