‘Do­rian Gray’ in Conary Church

THERE IS a won­der­ful op­por­tu­nity to see ‘ The Pic­ture of Do­rian Gray’ in Conary Hall at Conary Church on Fri­day, April 1.

Won­der­land Pro­duc­tions Ltd in as­so­ci­a­tion with Conary Com­mu­nity Arts are pre­sent­ing the show which fea­tures Michael James Ford, Si­mon Coury and Michael Win­der. The show is di­rected by Alice Cough­lan. In the pro­duc­tion so­cialite Lord Henry se­duces the beau­ti­fully boy­ish Do­rian Gray, into a dou­ble life of plea­sure, mur­der and ex­cess. Un­like Lord Henry, Do­rian never ages - only Basil Hall­ward’s por­trait charts his de­cline into sin and ultimate self-de­struc­tion. The evening in­cludes a sup­per of ex­otic teas with muffins, pas­tries, cream scones and cu­cum­ber sand­wiches. The show takes place in Conary Hall on Fri­day, April 1 at 8pm. Tick­ets can be pur­chased from Hend­ley’s and Bally K Mini Mart, Power Sounds Ark­low and Betty’s Shop, Conary and cost €15 with €12 con­ces­sion/ad­vance.
