Niall Tracey, Emmet McAvoy, and Albert Kerr had an exploratory dive in a section of Greystones Harbour. No fish, or shell life was seen. The underwater visibility was approximately one and a half metres, and the depth of the dive was 7.2 metres.
Further into the harbour the depth was greater. Underwater rocks in the area should eventually be a haven for marine life provided there is not too much pollution.
Queen of Peace Adventure Youth Club are having their club premises floors tiled with waterproof non-slip grade tiles. This will complete the renovation of the old boathouse on the seafront. Donations to help cover costs would be appreciated. The club has forty-nine members are the present. Members of the public are very welcome to see this restored building. Booking of Masses: Mass Cards and the booking of Masses will be looked after in St. Laurence's Office in the Villa Pacis (beside the Parish Office). If you are unable to get the date you require, perhaps it may help to have the person included in the Mass on that date.
Book of Condolence: Following the terrible tragedy and loss of life in Japan as the result of the recent tsunami, a book of condolence has been opened and placed in front of the Ambo and will be forwarded to the Japanese Embassy in Dublin your behalf.

Family Individual Prayer During Lent: This is an opportunity to spend 15/20 minutes in prayer once a week as a family or individual.
We will provide a Prayer Leaflet, Candle, copy of St. Luke's Gospel and a Trocaire Box. If you wish to take part, please place your name and address on the sheet at the back of the Church as a sign of your commitment.
Calling Our Young People: A special retreat day for young people will be held in the Villa Pacis on Saturday April 16th starting at 10am - more details to follow. On Holy Thursday a short service of reflection on the Last Supper will take place in the Villa Pacis at 6pm while on Good Friday in the Church there will be a reflection at 8pm on the Stations of the Cross prepared by the people of Honduras. All are welcome.
Festival of Hope: Bray Churches Together will hold a ' Festival of Hope ', a fun event for all families with a Celebration of Worship, on Sunday May 1st between 1pm and 4pm in Kilruddery Gardens.
Volunteers are needed to help with planning, preparing, and stewarding this event and those who would like to be a volunteer and be part of the Festival are asked to contact the Parish Office. Further information available from Rev. Baden Stanley on 087-9484407.
World Youth Day: 5 young people from the Parish, Shane Whelan, Bentley Park; Fiona Doherty, Seacrest; Isabella Veale, Avoca Drive; Laura Green, Woodbrook Lawn; and Zahra Mohamed, Putland Villas, will be attending World Youth Day in Madrid, Spain, in August this year. They will be having a collection in Tesco on Good Friday and Holy Saturday and your support would be greatly appreciated.
Seniors Bingo: This takes place on Wednesday afternoons from 2pm to 4pm in the Villa Pacis - all welcome.
Charismatic Prayer Group: This Group meets on Thursday nights at 8pm in the Villa Pacis.
Baptism: Baptisms take place on Our Lady Queen of Peace Church on the 2nd Sunday of the Month.
2011 Holy Land Pilgrimage: The Parish Pilgrimage to the Holy Land will take place from Monday May 23rd to Tuesday May 31st 2011.

Prayer Cards for Confirmation Children: Cards will be left on a table in the Church. Parishioners are welcome to take a card and pray for the young person named on the chosen card. Please return the card to the table before leaving the Church.
Bray and East Wicklow Stroke Club meets every Monday morning from 10am to 12 Noon in the Villa Pacis. If your have been affected by a stroke or are a carer and would like to come along, you will be most welcome.
