The next dance in Roundwood Parish Hall/Centre will be on 25th March music will be by Tony Davitt. On 15th April music will be by Golden Dream and on 20th May music by Gerry Galvin and the Wicklow man will play on 17th June and Rio on the 15th July. Dancing is from 9.30pm - 12 midnight with tea and a raffle.
There will be a tea dance on Sunday 5th June from 3pm - 6pm with music by William Belton.

People are needed for a sponsored walk in aid of the Glen of Imaal Mountain Rescue Team will take place from the 27th - 28th May on Clare Island or Croagh Patrick. All money will go to the Mountain Rescue Team. Please give team, names as soon as possible to 0404 45276 any evening after 8pm
On Monday 28th March at 8.30 p.m. in the Old School, Roundwood, the Roundwood Hstorical Society will present a talk by Mr. Ron Cox on how water from the Vartry Reservoir gets distributed through Dublin. This will be a most interesting and informative evening and all are welcome to attend. The Society's 21st Historical Journal is now on sale in local shops. Price €6.

WALK OF DREAMS
Roundwood AFC in conjuction with the John Giles Foundation will be partaking in the “walk of dreams” on Sunday 27th March at 3pm. The walk starts at Fitzwilliam Square through Ringsend to the Aviva Stadium. The Unity Gospel Choir will hold a concert in Roundwood Parish Hall on Friday 1st April from 8pm - 10.30pm. Admission €10 with all money raised going to The Wicklow Mountain Rescue. Tickets are in Justines shop or can be bought on the door on the night.
BUS TOUR TO AUSTRIA
A ten day tour of Austria St Anton and Lake Constance will take place from 29th June to 8th July. No flying involved just coach and cruise. Places to visit are Rotterdam, Germany, Vavaria Innsbruck and Black Forest. We also will visit the largest waterfall in Europe, the Rhein Falls. Well done to Jack Waters who won a silver medal in the boys U12 60M and to Laura Kavanagh who won a bronze medal in the U18 girls triple jump at the All Ireland Indoor Championships on Saturday 19th March in Maherafelt. Also special mention to Cliona Byrne, Amy Murphy and Andrew Doyle who competed .
The 4th and last round of the inter club cross country league will be held on the Murrough in Wicklow this Sunday 27th March at 1pm. Check-in at the top car park from 12.30pm. Cost is €1 per athlete. Medals for 1st 6 in each race. Points from this round will be added to the table and the Overall Trophy will be presented on the day.
Community Games county cross country is on Monday 28th March at 6pm in Avondale , Rathdrum.
Circuit training and body conditioning started Tuesday 22nd March from 7 - 8pm at the parish hall, Roundwood, €7.50 per class or sign up for 8 classes for €55, please bring a mat/water and plenty of energy.
Did you play badminton as a youngster and would like to give it a go again? Now's your chance - join us for an hour of fun badminton on Tuesday mornings from 9.30am in the sports complex. Spare rackets are available, Age/fitness level no barrier, so no excuses.

The Community Games Cross Country Team Event competition for County Wicklow will be held on 28th March in Avondale , Rathdrum. Registration at 6pm, first event at 6.30pm.
Events will include U13 Mixed Boys and Girls (Distance 1200m). U12 Mixed Distance Relays Boys and Girls (Distances 400 and 600 metres). U14 Mixed Distance Relays Boys and Girls (Distances 600 and 800 metres). There will also be events for U8, U 10 and U16 at county level, but participants in these events will not go forward to provincial finals.

A 45 Card drive continues every Tuesday at 8.45pm in Moneystown Community Centre.
There was no jackpot winner in last weekend’s draw the numbers drawn were 7, 14 17 & 25. There were nine match three winners, Kathleen Martin, Mary Carrick, MM Molloy, Anne Byrne, B Murphy, Paul Robinson, Maura Byrne, Triona Murphy & Jacinta Kenna. Next week’s jackpot will be €5,600.
