Patience over water applauded
THE PEOPLE of Bray have been thanked ‘for their cooperation and patience during the recent works in Bray,’ according to a statement by the Dublin Regional Watermain Rehabilitation Team.
New water mains are now in place in Florence Road, Brennan’s Parade, Seapoint Road and on Novara Avenue which will strengthen the supply for customers immediately and in the long-term by significantly reducing leaks.
Work currently underway in Kilmantain Park is due to be completed in early April and will conclude the current programme of works to improve Bray’s water mains.
‘We are very grateful for the co-operation and patience of residents, businesses and commuters in the areas where we have undertaken water rehabilitation works in Bray,’ said Cllr. David Grant Cathaoirleach of Bray Town Council.
‘These works are necessary in order to save water previously leaking through corroded pipes and we acknowledge the assistance of the staff at Bray Town Council in planning and carrying out these works,’ added. Ronan O’Rourke, Project Manager.
Water main replacement works in Bray will be completed in the coming weeks.
