Open Door seek Marathon sup­port

THIS YEAR'S Flora Women's Mini Marathon takes place on Bank Hol­i­day Mon­day, June 6 and Open Door in Bray is ap­peal­ing for sup­port from women tak­ing part.

Open Door caters for adults in North Wick­low and South County Dublin. The Cen­tre pro­vides fa­cil­i­ties and ac­tiv­i­ties for peo­ple with vary­ing dis­abil­i­ties as a re­sult of stroke, cere­bral palsy, mul­ti­ple sclero­sis, mo­tor neurone disease, spina bi­fida and road ac­ci­dents amongst oth­ers.

Open Door is a vi­tal so­cial out­let for its mem­bers and also pro­vides sup­port for car­ers and their fam­i­lies. The Flora Women's Mini Marathon is a great op­por­tu­nity to raise much needed funds and Open Door would love to be sup­ported as your des­ig­nated char­ity.

The cen­tre will pro­vide trans­port to and from the mini marathon from the premises on the Vevay Road, Bray and fin­ish off the day with straw­ber­ries and cream and a glass of bub­bly in their pur­pose built cen­tre.
