FINDING THE perfect dress for your wedding can be a daunting task. The latest styles and trends and can help you find the dress that is perfect for you!

Ruffles, flowers, flowing fabrics and intricate details are the hottest trends this year. Along with asymmetrical lines, dramatic backs, classic lines and ball gowns are coming back into fashion for brides. A new resurgence of lace and bridal sashes hit the runway this fall at bridal fashion market creating a romantic but edgy look for the bride. Becoming more popular are the brides that are placing emphasis on the uniqueness of their gown to set themselves apart from other brides. We are seeing more brides drawn to private label designers that are not over publicized and offered everywhere so that the bride can ensure her gown is one of a kind. Romantic details, fabulous embellishments and uniquely different gowns are becoming must haves!

Beyond style, designers are putting more thought into the construction of their gown to flatter the bride and reduce the amount of additional undergarments needed. In the past, brides have had to purchase crinolines or long line corsets along with their gown. Today, many designers are incorporating these items into the gown itself.

Another growing trend is that of the Eco Bride and many designers are taking notice. Several designers have created eco friendly or ‘green’ bridal lines using natural fabrics and dyes. Although these gowns are made with the eco bride in mind, they do not lack in beauty, details or luxury. Many of the "green" gowns are made with silk and other natural fabrics that will photograph wonderfully and be a lighter, more comfortable option for the bride on her wedding day.

Color is one of the most interesting and crucial choices one can make in terms of selecting a bridal gown. The days of the traditional white gown are fading. The majority of brides are choosing colors such as Diamond White, Pearl and Magnolia. Although the majority of people will not be able to discern between Diamond White and White, brides lean towards Diamond White or Pearl because of the benefits they offer for lighter complexions.

Brides are putting more thought into their accessories as these pieces truly reflect the bride's personality and style. A custom created veil or headpiece can enhance a wedding ensemble and capture the vision that the bride has for her wedding day. Headbands, ribbons and flowers are very popular accessories this season along with the traditional veil or the vintage look of the cage veil. Colored feathers and crystals are also gaining in popularity as they increase the options for customization.

Overall, the trend is individuality and the bride setting herself apart without sacrificing quality, personality or service.
