Valerie McCoy and friends from Glendalough are organising a stall at the next car boot sale in the Brockagh Centre on Sunday 3rd April, from 11am until 4pm, as a fundraiser to raise much needed funds for the quake stricken areas of Japan, New Zealand, Haiti and Chile. Only good quality/value items will be accepted in order to raise funds.

The next Country & Craft Market will take place on Sunday 10th April from 11am until 4pm. Contact Colette on 040445600. As well as our usual home-baking, craft, gift and home décor stalls. There are lots of new stall holders offering excellent value.
Improve your photographic skills! Experienced photographers will give hints and tips in our landscape photography workshop. The workshop will cater for both beginners and improvers and include indoor classes and field work.

FREE TAROT NIGHT
There will be a free Tarot Introductory Night in the Brockagh Centre on Wednesday 13th April from 7 to 9 p.m. Aingeal O'Grady will facilitate this fun and enlightening evening on the Tarot. You will have the opportunity to ask questions as well as get a taste for the cards, some meanings and some play. Come join us - the more the merrier.
KIDS EASTER CAMP
The Brockagh Kids Easter Camp takes place on Tuesday 19th April to Friday 22nd April from 9.15a.m. until 1.30 p.m. Activities include Freckles McGoo Musical Theatre, Elevation Hip Hop, Imagination Gym, Yoga, Arts & Crafts and Fun and Games. Suitable for 6-10 year olds. Cost €50. Phone the Brockagh Centre on (0404) 45600 to book a place.
Is your child safe on the internet? The National Parents Council Primary working with the National Centre for Technology in Education (NCTE) has developed a seminar to take the mystery out of the Internet for parents and to give them the skills to engage with their children's online lives.
This will take place on 11th April at 8p.m. in Scoil Chaoimhin Naofa, Glendalough. It is open to the general public and so all are welcome.
Kirikee Drama are back again this year in the Brockagh Centre on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th April at 8.30 p.m. The group will perform the comedy ‘Drinking Habits by Tom Smith’.
AVONDALE SCHOOL QUIZ
Avondale Parents Association are holding a Table Quiz in the Corner House in Rathdrum at 8.00 pm on Friday 1 April. Please support our annual fund raising event. Proceeds to Avondale Community School.
The Wicklow Adventure Race (War) takes place on Saturday 16th April. The event is starting and finishing in upper Glendalough Car park and incorporating mountain running, kayaking and a cycle route via Annamoe, Lough Dan, Lough Tay, Sallygap and Glenmacnass. GLEN OF IMAAL WALK
Sponsored Walk in aid of Glen of Imaal Mountain Rescue Team. We are looking for people who would like to walk on Clare Island or Croagh Patrick on 27-28th May to take part in a sponsored walk. All money to rescue team. Names as soon as possible. Please contact 0404 45276 any evening after 8 p.m.
