The En­niskerry Traders are hold­ing a very Im­por­tant Ta­ble Quiz on Fri­day 8th April in Pow­er­scourt Arms Coun­try House start­ing at 8.30 p.m Funds are needed to keep the Vil­lage clean e.g to have the roads and foot­paths swept on a reg­u­lar ba­sis among other tasks. Ta­ble Cost is € 40 with fin­ger food in­cluded. A big turnout of Lo­cal traders is ex­pected to be there along with the other lo­cals who love these nights of fun and games.


A very Large turnout is on the cards or En­niskerry Na­tional School Walk on Satur­day. It is a big Fun and Fund Raiser to help the Pupils with bet­ter fa­cil­i­ties, you can par­tic­i­pate by walk­ing more de­tails are avail­able at the Na­tional School be­side the Catholic School on the Dublin Road.


The En­niskerry Par 3 sea­son got off to an ex­cit­ing start last week but the first win­ner was no stranger to be­ing top man, Tommy Ho­gan lead off and goes straight to the Top of the Road in Pow­er­scourt Arms at the end of the Year.


The im­por­tant role of the black­smith, far­rier and the lo­cal forge within the com­mu­nity in the past forms the ba­sis for the Thurs­day April 14th meet­ing of the En­niskerry His­tory So­ci­ety, when Padraig Laf­fan will present his lec­ture on ' Forges, Far­ri­ers and Smiths ' in the Pow­er­scourt Arms Ho­tel, that night at 8.30pm. All wel­come to at­tend.
