The Enniskerry Traders are holding a very Important Table Quiz on Friday 8th April in Powerscourt Arms Country House starting at 8.30 p.m Funds are needed to keep the Village clean e.g to have the roads and footpaths swept on a regular basis among other tasks. Table Cost is € 40 with finger food included. A big turnout of Local traders is expected to be there along with the other locals who love these nights of fun and games.
NATIONAL SCHOOL WALK
A very Large turnout is on the cards or Enniskerry National School Walk on Saturday. It is a big Fun and Fund Raiser to help the Pupils with better facilities, you can participate by walking more details are available at the National School beside the Catholic School on the Dublin Road.
TOMMY LEADS THE WAY
The Enniskerry Par 3 season got off to an exciting start last week but the first winner was no stranger to being top man, Tommy Hogan lead off and goes straight to the Top of the Road in Powerscourt Arms at the end of the Year.
The important role of the blacksmith, farrier and the local forge within the community in the past forms the basis for the Thursday April 14th meeting of the Enniskerry History Society, when Padraig Laffan will present his lecture on ' Forges, Farriers and Smiths ' in the Powerscourt Arms Hotel, that night at 8.30pm.
