Aughrim Rugby launch

AUGHRIM RUGBY will be for­mally launched this week­end in the heart of South Wick­low and be­come Ire­land’s new­est rugby club.

On Satur­day, April 2, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. ex­pect to see some fa­mous faces from Le­in­ster and Ir­ish rugby at­tend­ing the days events in the Sports Com­plex.

There will be cas­tles, food, face paint­ing, clowns, rugby games and fun and most im­por­tantly player reg­is­tra­tion will be held through­out the day. Aughrim Rugby will also have its Child Wel­fare Of­fi­cers and Coaches tak­ing ques­tions through­out the day.

Aughrim Rugby was re­cently founded to of­fer chil­dren (Un­der-6 to Un­der-12 Boys and Girls) the chance to ex­pe­ri­ence rugby through an en­joy­able and fun coach­ing ex­pe­ri­ence. Aughrim Rugby all though in its in­fancy can al­ready boast five IRFU ac­cred­ited coaches from their lo­cal­ity. Their medium goal is to also in­tro­duce TAG Rugby to adults of all ages dur­ing the sum­mer evenings.
