This will be some consolation for them after losing out to Avondale after extra-time in the recent Senior decider.

Their final opponents will be Loreto College Bray who defeated another Bray school Colaiste Raithin by 6-8 to 2-1 in Bray Emmets on Friday. Raithin had a few excellent players but Loreto had a greater strength in depth.

Six schools took part in the first year indoor hurling competition which took place in Arklow Sports and Leisure Centre on Wednesday.

The competition was organised by Coaching and Games representatives Dave Murray and referee Ciarán O’Shea.
