Eire Og Greystones 2-13 Knockananna 1-11
AFTER PUTTING in a great first half performance Knockananna were out-gunned by a strong Eire Og team from Greystones at Knockananna on Sunday morning.
The home side picked off some great points in the first half and when Johnny Wybrant blasted home a fine goal they went in leading by 1-8 to 2-3 at half-time.
By the start of the second half the seasiders had recovered from their long journey and early morning and took control.
Daniel English began to make his Senior experience tell at midfield and Daniel Webb and David Hayden began to find the range with their point shooting. In the end they ran out clesar winners.

PLENTY OF excitement and controversy when parish neibhbours Blessington and Kilbride met in a Division 3 match on Saturday and the best place to start a report may be at the very end.
With less than two minutes to go and Blessington hanging on for a draw in this very close match Mark Keogh, who plays for both clubs, shot home a goal and the home side were celebrating, as they were well entitled to do. But was this cracker of a game all over? Not on your life. With referee Jimmy Lawlor making his last check on his watch up popped Alan Elles, a man that has saved so many matches for Blessington, and cracked the ball to the net to level the game again.
