More collisions at Glen of the Downs

GARDAI ARE investigating the reasons behind an unusually high number of single vehicle collisions at Glen of the Downs in recent times.

Superintendent Pat Ward of Bray Garda Station said that there have been more single vehicle collisions in that area than would be expected.

' We are investigating the causes,' he said, adding that gardai are working in conjunction with Wicklow County Council.

The accidents are equally frequent in each direction. Supt. Ward said that traffic cars are operating in the area.
