In their final blitz held in Tinahely they over- came both Carnew and Aughrim to win the South Wicklow Coughlan Cup.

They successfully completed two days of indoor hurling winning all their matches to come out on top and win out the hurling league. Captain for the hurling team was David Byrne.
Principal of Crossbridge, Marie Murphy, complimented all the boys and girls of the winning teams for their hard work on and off the pitch and also paid tribute to Tinahely Juvenile GAA club for all the coaching being given to the school .
All the young boys and girls were presented with their medals during their Christmas play by schools coaching co-ordinator Martin Ging, who paid tribute to the boys and girls and also to the three schools Crossbridge, Kilcommon and Tinahely for their promotion of Gaelic Games within the community.
