79 big events pen­cilled in for Gath­er­ing

AS 2013 gets well un­der­way a sig­nif­i­cant level of in­ter­est has been ex­pressed by the Garden County in The Gath­er­ing as a to­tal of 79 events have al­ready been sched­uled.

From cook­ery demon­stra­tions to sport­ing and fit­ness chal­lenges and fam­ily re­unions there is ex­pected to be a huge in­flux of vis­i­tors coming home to par­take in the cel­e­bra­tions.

Ev­ery cor­ner of Wicklow is to play its part in this large scale tourism ini­tia­tive and many reg­u­lar an­nual events have been tai­lored to fa­cil­i­tate in­clu­sion so that vis­i­tors will en­joy a true flavour of Wicklow and all it has to of­fer. While a num­ber of events have al­ready taken place, fear not as each month will bring a cal­en­dar of events of­fer­ing some­thing for ev­ery­one.
