Plaque un­veiled when Mcel­heron met the Pres­i­dent

PIC­TURED IS Ark­low Town Coun­cil­lor Vin­cent McEl­heron with Pres­i­dent Michael D Hig­gins at a plaque un­veil­ing at Dublin City Hall to mark 100 years of the found­ing of the As­so­ci­a­tion of Mu­nic­i­pal Au­thor­i­ties of Ire­land.

Cllr. McEl­heron has con­tin­ued as Ark­low Ark­low Town Coun­cil's AMAI del­e­gate fol­low­ing in the foot­steps of his late fa­ther John E McEl­heron lob­by­ing to en­sure that lo­cal government de­ci­sions, on the ground RE hous­ing, san­i­tary ser­vices, so­cial and sport­ing ameni­ties, water and sew­er­age domestic, safety and flood pro­tec­tion to­gether with Arts, Cul­tural and Com­mu­nity Grants re­main the ef­fec­tive role of the lo­cal coun­cil­lor.
