ICE AGE 4: Con­ti­nen­tal Drift will be shown at Mer­maid Arts Cen­tre on Sun­day at 2 p.m.

When Scrat ac­ci­den­tally pro­vokes a con­ti­nen­tal cat­a­clysm with a storm, Manny is sep­a­rated from El­lie and Peaches on an ice­berg with Diego, Sid and Granny. He prom­ises to find a way to re­turn home.

Us­ing the ice­berg as a ship, they en­counter sea crea­tures and bat­tle pi­rates as they ex­plore a new world.

So a young and old au­di­ence are in­vited to come along and en­joy the movie. Jade cel­e­brates her 21st in style LO­CAL GIRL Jade Dug­gan cel­e­brated her 21st birth­day re­cently along with fam­ily and friends.

Jade was joined in the Martello for her party by her par­ents Mick and Mar­garet, old school friends from St. David's, col­lege pals, and her friends from Ir­ish danc­ing.

There were also aun­ties, un­cles cousins and other ex­tended fam­ily mem­bers in the 120-strong crowd.

Jade is from Kindlestown Park in Greystones and is in her fi­nal year at UCD. Her sis­ter Donna is in Aus­tralia and un­for­tu­nately wasn't able to come home for the party, how­ever she sent her a lovely video mes­sage which moved the birth­day girl to tears on the night.

It was a fan­tas­tic party, with guests danc­ing late in to the night. Jade, whose birth­day fell on St. Stephen's Day, thanked ev­ery­one for coming along and really ap­pre­ci­ated all the warmth and good will from ev­ery­one there.
