Women urged to join scheme
AMBITIOUS women entrepreneurs are being urge to join a development programme to assist them in their careers and businesses. There are 60 places available on the next Going for Growth programme which will get underway in January 2013. This business development initiative is designed to support women who are serious about growing their businesses and are the owner manager of a business which has been trading for at least two years. The programme, which involves a time commitment of one half day a month for six months, is free of charge to suitable applicants.
Wicklow entrepreneur, Eileen O'Connell, Interactions Ltd., describes the experience as a participant.
‘I would recommend the programme to anyone in business as it is challenging and kept me focused on the bottom line. It helped me to clarify my business direction and focus on good business practice. It provided me with invaluable learning from the experiences and path to success of the Lead Entrepreneur. There was also a lot of good advice from the expert speakers at the Forum. Most significantly, the support of the other participants was instrumental and we will continue to meet and support each other as our businesses grow.’
Female entrepreneurs interested in applying for the next Going for Growth programme can access information and download application forms at www.goingforgrowth.com.
The closing date for the receipt of applications is Wednesday, January 16.
