GAA CLUB AGM
40 people attended the Enniskerry Gaelic Football Club Annual General Meeting on Friday last at their Club House in Pairc na Sillogue. There are few changes in the Officers for the coming year which everyone agreed will be one of great importance to all in Enniskerry both on and off the field. Teams will play in both Ladies Football and all grades will see Enniskerry in both Hurling and Football for Juveniles and Boys, girls and men.Training continues and new players will be very welcome at all grades. The Enniskerry Active Retirees are on a short break but resume activities on Wednesday 6th February in the Local Community on the Bray Road. SOCCER BACK
Activities resume on the playing fields for the members of Enniskerry Y.C this coming weekend. The Club is looking forward to a good run to get them into challenging places for their Leagues in the coming weeks. PAR 3 GOLF
The Enniskerry Par 3 Golfers are off the the Course for the next while and will resume at their usual seasonal starting date. WALKERS
The Circuit of Vartry Reservoir is the first official event for the ever growing number of people taking part in the great outdoor activity of walking on the lovely ways of Wicklow/Dublin. Meeting point is in Enniskerry outside of Windsors Spar opposite the Town Clock in Enniskerry on Saturday at 1.30 p.m or Parking on the approach to Roundwood Village at 1.50pm. Dogs must be on leads. Gardening Club AGM: The AGM takes place tonight (Wednesday) at 8pm in the Parochial Hall and all member are requested to attend.
Mothers' Union: The next meeting takes place on Wednesday January 16th when Anne Marie, formerly of the beauty salon in Enniskerry, will speak about skin care and make up.

Tomorrow night ( Thursday) the Spring 2013 Programme of the Enniskerry History Society commences at 8.30pm in the Powerscourt Arms Hotel, Enniskerry, when Brian White, Chairperson of the Bray Cualann Society will present his lecture 'Some Discoveries in Enniskerry and Some Other Interesting Stories About Enniskerry'.
