Cancer Support gang will go to hell and back at Kilruddery

TV’3’S SINEAD DESMOND TO JOIN BRAY CANCER SUPPORT FUNDRAISERS

- MARY FOGARTY

TV3'S IRELAND AM presenter Sinead Desmond will be joining Bray Cancer Support Centre's team for the Hell & Back 10km event, which takes place in Killruddery Estate on Sunday, January 27.

The team will have to face 10km of tough terrain, which will include going through freezing cold rivers and over 10foot-high walls.

But their punishment is all for a good cause – Bray Cancer Support Centre. The team will be raising funds for the Braybased charity, which provides a range of cancer support services to people affected by cancer in the North Wicklow and Dublin areas.

Designed, built and customised by a former member of Elite Army Ranger Wing, the Hell & Back Challenge has now been tested and approved by the best. With military precision, it will torment the competitors both physically and mentally.

With 1,200 acres on the stunning Kilruddery private estate, the competitors will feel like they have hit every single one by the time they finish Hell & Back.

And while the views of Dublin Bay are unparalleled, they won't unfortunately be able to enjoy them.

And if taking part wasn't enough, there is a spectator-friendly section at both the start and finish lines for friends and family to cheer the competitors on while they struggle over the course's obstacles.
