Fa­ther makes emo­tional plea for son’s re­turn

PHILIP O'Toole's fa­ther Bren­dan has made an emo­tional plea for his son's safe re­turn.

A na­tive of Thorn­hill View in Bray, Philip has not been seen since leav­ing his Ark­low home on Mon­day Jan­uary 7 at around 5.10 p.m.

‘His mother is very up­set; we're all very wor­ried said Bren­dan, who lives in Cois Cairn.

De­tec­tive In­spec­tor Frank Keeneghan said that the gar­dai and the fam­ily have ‘se­ri­ous con­cerns' for Philip's safety. It was his 33rd birth­day on Mon­day.

‘His mum Irene, sis­ter Lor­raine and girl­friend Jen­nifer are just break­ing their hearts. Philip has a seven-month-old son and he should be with his dad,' said Bren­dan.

‘He used to phone his mum ev­ery day and we're just wait­ing by the phone hop­ing some­one will tell us where he is.

‘ Th­ese last two weeks have been a night­mare and I just want the pub­lic to help us find my son. We just want some­one to end our pain.'

His car was found on the Lower Dar­gle Road the night af­ter his dis­ap­pear­ance. He was driv­ing a blue BMW with the reg­is­tra­tion 99-D-82211.
