A BENCH WARRANT has been issued for the arrest of a Bray mother who vandalised an acquaintance's cars with paint after the woman would not be her friend.

Treacy Miskella (39) of Cois Cairn, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray, had been on a course with the woman of the Ballybrack house.

Miskella poured paint on two cars parked in the driveway of the house, causing €1,500 worth of damage. She was upset because the woman rejected her offer of friendship. The attack occurred at Oakton Park last March. Dun Laoghaire District Court heard in June that the victim heard a noise outside before discovering the damage to the two cars.

‘ The defendant was trying to establish a connection on a friendly basis but that was not returned and she was upset about that,' said defence solicitor Ronnie Lynam.

Miskella failed to appear in Dun Laoghaire District Court on Monday for a pre-sentence probation report.
