VA­RI­ETY IS the key­note of the fourth vol­ume of the Old Bray So­ci­ety Pic­to­rial His­tory of Bray se­ries of books, which this years con­tains sev­eral ar­ti­cles in ad­di­tion to a vast se­lec­tion of pho­to­graphs re­call- ing var­i­ous as­pects of the town’s past.

This vol­ume opens with a gen­eral pho­to­graphic se­lec­tion ‘The Town and its En­vi­rons’ fol­lowed by three ar­ti­cles, ‘The Drumm Bat­tery Rail­cars’ by James Scan­nell, ‘The Put­land Fam­ily’ by Liam Clare, and ‘The Records of Louglin­stown Work­house and their Rel­e­vance to Bray’ by Eva Ó Cathaoir, while ‘St Cro­nan’s Teach­ers’ lists all the teach­ers who have served in this school.

Other topics in­clude Bray Red Cross, fam­i­lies of Bray, and more.
