Davy nominated for FAI award after super year
DAVY O'SULLIVAN'S football career continues to blossom, with a nomination for the FAI Intermediate Player of the Year being the latest honour for the Wicklow Town man.
The former Wicklow Rovers and Arklow Town star, currently plying his trade with Wayside Celtic, has previously represented Ireland at college level and done so with resounding success. In recent times, it is with the Irish Amateurs squad that he has made a name for himself and those performances, along with his outings for Wayside Celtic, have seen him enlisted for the honour.
O'Sullivan must outdo Gerry Gill of Cockhill Celtic and Brian Murphy of Avondale United for the former Bray Wanderers youngster to add more honours to his list.
