THERE ARE two big games this week­end at Bridge­wa­ter Cen­tre Park as the U-12 and U-13 Wicklow County Squads take on Wex­ford in the SFAI Le­in­ster In­ter-League Tour­na­ment.

The first game kicks-off at 11.30am on Satur­day (Jan­uary 26) with the U-12 boys fac­ing a strong Wex­ford out­fit while the sec­ond fix­ture, in­volv­ing the U-13 team, fol­lows im­me­di­ately af­ter at 1pm.

The U-12 squad, un­der the man­age­ment of De­clan Strahan, played their first game in the U-12 Jim Cashin Cup on De­cem­ber 15 2012 at Greystones and were un­lucky to nar­rowly lose out to the NDSL by a sin­gle goal. Karl Brauner and his U-13 squad also played the NDSL on the same day in the U13 Euro Tab Cup and se­cured a 1-1 draw with the North Dublin School­boys League.

Ark­low Town FC has a very strong rep­re­sen­ta­tion on both squads with Sean Crow­ley, Joshua Mills, Eoin O'Neill, Thomas Lynch, Daniel Bruce, Jack O'Reilly, Cal­lum Ran­dall, Liam Moore and Ben Fen­nell on the U-12 squad while Tom Murphy, David Kealy, Richard O'Toole, Dar­ragh Walker, Liam Cole­man, Matthew Dempsey, Conor Bres­lin, Kian Bol­ger, An­drew Ma­her, Nathan Cullen, Shane Keenan, Jack Healy, Tom Somers and Finn For­tune on the U-13s.
