Drink driver is put off the road for two years
A BARNDARRIG man who was caught drink driving was put off the road for two years at a recent sitting of Wicklow District Court.
Dermot Boylan ( 40), 11 Saint Mary’s Crescent, Barndarrig was charged with commit- ting the offence at Kilmurray North, Wicklow on June 1, 2012.
He pleaded guilty to the charge and the court heard he had a breath alcohol concentration of 57mg of alcohol per 100ml of breath.
The court heard Boylan was cooperative on the day and had been recently been made unemployed.
Judge David Kennedy fined him € 200, endorsed his licence and put him off the road for two years.
