Arklow CBS

Bray People - - SCHOOLS REPORT -

U14 football took place on Wednesday 23rd January in Baltinglass. The CBS team played extremely well with points coming from Tom Hurley, Cullan Walsh and Ciaran O' Shea and Tom Somers. The team fought hard and ended up with 2 draws and 2 defeats. We would like to thank all the players and Anthony Nolan who puts in a great effort getting the boys ready for each match. Best of luck to the 1st year footballers as they progress through the knock out stages. YOUNG SCIENTIST

Our TY students recently enjoyed a day out with Ms Egan at the Young Scientist Exhibition in the RDS. Students were well impressed with the range and diversity of the projects on display. Arklow CBS has a long track record of excellence in this event. SENIOR PHYSICS

Our 6th year physics students recently went on a revision day to Maynooth College with Ms. Egan. Students got to revise all the leaving certificate mandatory practicals. Students found this day really beneficial and it will certainly help them in their upcoming mocks. Many thanks to the CBS Parent's Council for assisting with the funding for this. AUTISM TALK

TY students had a talk this Friday with Denis Sexton of the Irish Society for Autism. Students had collected for the society earlier on in the year and this collection is a regular part of the TY calendar.
