Feeding your pet in a recession

Bray People - - THE NOTEBOOK -

THE RECESSION has caused many pet lovers to take a long look at their finances and reconsider what steps they will have to take to reduce their expenses when it comes to feeding their pet. Although pets deserve the best food on the market some peoples budget cannot adhere to this. For this reason, we have slowly been introducing new foods to our shop that are both suited to quality and price.

For instance we at Pet Bliss sell a budget complete dog food that for €14 will feed a medium size dog for at least 4-6 weeks - which works out less than 46 cent per day. Our newest premium range of dog food works out at €35 and will feed a medium sized dog for 6-8 weeks, less than 79 cent per day.

People should not have to be embarrased about downgrading their dog food when there are other brands out there that are the same quality yet much cheaper.

Not only should pet owners consider buying bulk for their dogs, it is more economical to purchase bags of rabbit food, hamster food or cat food in larger quantities.
