YOUTH CLUB

Con­grat­u­la­tions to Al­lie Byrne, Rachel O'Dwyer, and Sarah Flavin. They won the first three places in the Queen of Peace Ad­ven­ture Youth Club quiz com­pe­ti­tion. Next club items in­clude a night climb on the Lit­tle Su­gar­loaf, Dar­gle Val­ley walk, pool swim­ming, tal­ent com­pe­ti­tion, and in­flat­able boat pad­dling. DIV­ING CLUB

Gra­ham Wheeler re­cently en­joyed his first snorkel dive with Bray Divers. Gra­ham is a PADI diver in­struc­tor, and af­ter three more snorkel dives he will be ready for scuba div­ing with the club. Club mem­bers will be div­ing in Portroe Slate Quarry in Fe­bru­ary, and at Hook Head at Easter. AC­TIVE RE­TIRE­MENT

Hos­pi­tal­ity Team: The Hos­pi­tal­ity Team for this Sun­day is Team D.

Last Week­end's Church Gate Col­lec­tion: Last week­end's church gate col­lec­tion was in aid of the Dublin Dio­cese Chil­dren's Pil­grim­age to Lour­des which takes place ev­ery Easter for one week. This group of vol­un­teers brings chil­dren who may be suf­fer­ing from emo­tional, men­tal and phys­i­cal dis­abil­i­ties. The cost of bring­ing a child to Lour­des is €800. The chil­dren are brought to var­i­ous places to pray and have fun while fol­low­ing in the foot­steps of St. Ber­nadette. The trip in­cludes the Sta­tion of the Cross, a Torch Light Pro­ces­sion and daily Mass. Each vol­un­teer is Garda vet­ted and has com­pleted Child Pro­tec­tion Train­ing.

A Di­vine Mercy Hour: This will be held each 'First Fri­day' at 8pm in this Church - an Hour of Prayer, Ado­ra­tion, Praise and Pe­ti­tion. All wel­come. De­cem­ber's takes place this Fri­day.

Year of Faith Leaflets: Prayer Leaflets from the Of­fice of Evan­ge­liza­tion for the 'Year of Faith' are avail­able in the Church Porch for any­one who would like to take one.

Bo­gus Char­ity Col­lec­tors: Please be aware of bo­gus char­ity col­lec­tors in or around the Church grounds.

Mass for the Sick: The Bray Area Parishes ex­tend a cor­dial in­vi­ta­tion to all, es­pe­cially the ill and the el­derly, to at­tend A Mass and Anoint­ing of the Sick at 3pm on Sun­day Fe­bru­ary 24th in St. Fer­gal's Church, Bal­ly­waltrim, Bray. Please con­tact Fr. Fer­gal's Par­ish Of­fice on 01-286 0980 if you re­quire trans­port.

Bugisi: St.Anne will give a talk at 6.30pm Mass on Satur­day Fe­bru­ary 9th and the 10.30am and 12 Noon Masses on Sun­day Fe­bru­ary 10th.

If the an­swer is yes maybe you would like to com­mit to be­com­ing a mem­ber of the Per­pet­ual Ado­ra­tion. Please pick up a card at the back of the Church and choose which hour suits your needs.
