ARKLOW
I LIVE with my husband Paul in Avondale Crescent, Arklow, I am daughter of Paddy and the late Nancy Murphy, Johnstown, Arklow and sister of Patrick, Michael and the late Sean
I have a long and proven track record of Community Work, and in the past 5 years as a Councillor I have worked on many issues and I have gained valuable knowledge, experience and contacts both locally and nationally. This together with my never give up until I get a result attitude is what I bring to you the voters in this election. I am also very proud to be one of the few women putting themselves forward for this Local Election and I ask all the women in the area to come out and vote on May 23rd.
My present committee involvement includes: Board and Executive Member, Co. Wicklow Tourism – Arklow Age Action - Arklow Community Response to Suicide Prevention - Arklow Social Inclusion Network - Wicklow Local Authority Access Group - Marshlands Sports & Youth Centre – Arklow Disability Action Group - ATC Housing and Traffic Committees – Mayor of Arklow 2010/11 – Wicklow Person of the Year Award 2008. I also support many charities and organisations in the county.
As I enter the new enlarged electoral area, I welcome the opportunity of meeting as many of you as I possibly can in the weeks ahead and remember to please contact me if I can be of any assistance. Your concerns are my concerns, your welfare is my Priority.
A STRONG INDEPENDENT VOICE IN SOUTH WICKLOW NOT JUST AT ELECTION TIME
