I LIVE with my hus­band Paul in Avon­dale Cres­cent, Ark­low, I am daugh­ter of Paddy and the late Nancy Mur­phy, John­stown, Ark­low and sis­ter of Patrick, Michael and the late Sean

I have a long and proven track record of Com­mu­nity Work, and in the past 5 years as a Coun­cil­lor I have worked on many is­sues and I have gained valu­able knowl­edge, ex­pe­ri­ence and con­tacts both lo­cally and na­tion­ally. This to­gether with my never give up un­til I get a re­sult at­ti­tude is what I bring to you the vot­ers in this elec­tion. I am also very proud to be one of the few women putting them­selves for­ward for this Lo­cal Elec­tion and I ask all the women in the area to come out and vote on May 23rd.

My present com­mit­tee in­volve­ment in­cludes: Board and Ex­ec­u­tive Mem­ber, Co. Wick­low Tourism – Ark­low Age Ac­tion - Ark­low Com­mu­nity Re­sponse to Sui­cide Preven­tion - Ark­low So­cial In­clu­sion Net­work - Wick­low Lo­cal Author­ity Ac­cess Group - Marsh­lands Sports & Youth Cen­tre – Ark­low Disability Ac­tion Group - ATC Hous­ing and Traf­fic Com­mit­tees – Mayor of Ark­low 2010/11 – Wick­low Per­son of the Year Award 2008. I also sup­port many char­i­ties and or­gan­i­sa­tions in the county.

As I en­ter the new en­larged elec­toral area, I wel­come the op­por­tu­nity of meet­ing as many of you as I pos­si­bly can in the weeks ahead and re­mem­ber to please con­tact me if I can be of any as­sis­tance. Your con­cerns are my con­cerns, your wel­fare is my Pri­or­ity.
