Fundraising a piece of cake for the EBS

Bray People - - ABOUT GREYSTONES -

EBS Greystones got right behind the Great Irish Bake campaign for Temple Street Children’s University Hospital by organising its own cake sale and coffee morning.

A selection of tasty treats ranging from full sized cakes to miniature cup cakes enticed customers and passers by alike, drawing a sizeable crowd to the premises.

A steady flow of people throughout the day meant the Greystones branch made a considerable contribution toward the €150,000 it was hoped this year’s Bake Off would raise nationally.

All the monies raised will go toward the purchase of three Giraffe Omnibed Incubators.

These incubators are used for newborn babies who are brought into the hospital sometimes just days after they are born.
