Table quiz fundraiser for junior hurlers

Bray People - - KILMACANOGUE DIARY -

LAST FRIDAY evening was a historic day for Kilmac GAA as it was the first time in 40 years that the club fielded a junior hurling team. They played a blitz in Greystones where they beat Bray Emmett’s and drew with Eire Og and all the kids showed great skills on the night which pleased coaches Christy Fox and Garreth Power greatly. It was a great weekend for Garreth also as he turned 40 years young also and everyone in the club would like to wish this dedicated coach a very happy birthday and best wishes for the next 40.

Of course it all costs money to run these teams with gear and hurls required and with this in mind, the club have organised a fundraising Table Quiz which will take place in the Glencormac Inn this Friday night (11th) at 9pm. They would really appreciate your support on the night.

Some of the talented young hurlers belonging to the Kilmac GAA hurling team, the first we’ve had in 40 years!
