Four local architects in Open Door campaign

-

FOUR Wicklow architects are taking part in the RIAI Simon Open Door campaign to raise money for Simon Communities across Ireland.

D Architecture, Gerrard Hynes Associates of Ashford, Noel Quinn of Glendalough and Ronan Rose Roberts of Wicklow Town will all take part in the campaign which is running on May 10 and May 11.

This is the tenth year the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI) and the Simon Communities have teamed up for the RIAI Simon Open Door campaign.

During the campaign architects in Wicklow and nationwide will offer one hour consultations to the public for a donation of €50, every cent of which goes directly to the Simon Communities in Ireland.

To date, €300,000 has been raised by the Irish public and architects. The message of the tenth anniversary campaign is ‘Don't be afraid to renovate'.

Engaging an architect in your project will save you time and money. A consultation with an architect can open up a range of options and give you the chance to discuss the most economic and appropriate design for your requirements.

Log on to www. simonopendoor. ie to book your one-hour consultation with an RIAI Registered architect in your area.

All architects give their time and expertise for free.
