Four lo­cal ar­chi­tects in Open Door cam­paign

FOUR Wick­low ar­chi­tects are tak­ing part in the RIAI Si­mon Open Door cam­paign to raise money for Si­mon Com­mu­ni­ties across Ire­land.

D Ar­chi­tec­ture, Ger­rard Hynes As­so­ciates of Ash­ford, Noel Quinn of Glen­dalough and Ro­nan Rose Roberts of Wick­low Town will all take part in the cam­paign which is run­ning on May 10 and May 11.

This is the tenth year the Royal In­sti­tute of the Ar­chi­tects of Ire­land (RIAI) and the Si­mon Com­mu­ni­ties have teamed up for the RIAI Si­mon Open Door cam­paign.

Dur­ing the cam­paign ar­chi­tects in Wick­low and na­tion­wide will of­fer one hour con­sul­ta­tions to the pub­lic for a do­na­tion of €50, ev­ery cent of which goes di­rectly to the Si­mon Com­mu­ni­ties in Ire­land.

To date, €300,000 has been raised by the Ir­ish pub­lic and ar­chi­tects. The mes­sage of the tenth an­niver­sary cam­paign is ‘Don't be afraid to ren­o­vate'.
