Trident Holiday Homes team up with website

KILCOOLE-BASED Trident Holiday Homes entered an exclusive partnership last week that will see it take over management of the new cottages4you website and call centre services.

The move is a substantial boost for the County Wicklow company, which is already the largest operator of self-catering accommodation and holiday homes in the country. Trident already has over 600 properties and more than 50 staff nationwide.

Cottages4You is part of Wyndham Vacation Rentals which - with over 100,000 vacation rental properties - is the world’s largest vacation rental company.

Jacinta Doolan of Trident Holiday Homes was adamant that the partnership will be of great benefit to the business going forward as well as help grow what has already proven to be a very lucrative sector in Ireland.

‘ The self-catering sector is of particular benefit to Ireland’s tourism industry as many of the properties are located in rural and coastal communities,’ she explained. ‘Self-catering customers typically take longer breaks and spend more money in the local economy in restaurants, pubs, shops and visitor attractions.
