LIVING WILLOW WORKSHOP

This full day course will teach you the basic techniques required to make living willow tunnels, arches and fencing for your garden.

The course will take place on Saturday 19th April from 9.30 a.m. until 4.30 p.m. The course will take place outdoors at the Brockagh Resource Centre. Cost is €70 per person (materials and tools supplied). If you have your own secateurs bring it along. There will be tea, coffee and biscuits provided, please bring your own packed lunch.

As this course will take place outdoors, please wear sturdy boots and bring along waterproof clothing and a good warm coat and hat. Advance booking and payment is required to ensure your place. There will be no Gymboree in the Brockagh Resource Centre until Friday 2nd May at 10 a.m. Gymboree is musical themed class of active fun promoting a love of music through song, dance, movement games and instrument­s. Children explore the power of rhythm, melody, tonality and beat while developing physical, social and intellectu­al skills. Laragh Glendaloug­h Active Retirement associatio­n as part of the Bealtaine Festival are hosting an afternoon tea dance on Sunday 25th May from 3-6 p.m. Music by the Wicklow Man. Admission is €5 - refreshmen­ts served. ST. KEVIN'S WAY

The 'Friends of St. Kevin's Road' invite everyone who would like to take part in a walk along this medieval pilgrim path to meet at the Visitor Centre car park in Glendaloug­h on Easter Saturday, 19th April at 9.30 a.m. A bus (?4) will drop participan­ts at the start of the 11 km walk (you can also arrange your own transport or join up with the group mid-way).
