Christopher Fox

Bray People - - LOCAL ELECTIONS -

CHRISTOPHER FOX was first elected as an independent councillor in 2004 following his sister Mildred and his late father Johnny. He is married to Jackie and they have two young children. He was educated at Kilmacanogue NS and St Killians Ballywaltrim. ON THE KEY ISSUES. I am opposed to the creation of Irish water as I feel the council is in a better position to deliver water services coupled with a totally inadequate free water allowance.

I am also totally opposed to property tax being diverted to national exchequer funds and away from local services as well as the unjust nature of key elements of the tax.

The biggest crisis facing the new council is the growing housing problem with escalating rents, lack of social and affordable houses and little new build in the private sector.

The new council will also face the challenge of transferring all services from the disbanded town council to the reformed county council and its important that Bray and north wicklow has an adequate level of staffing to deliver a good service.

As always if elected I will be available for constituents to represent them on an individual basis.
