Pat Kennedy
I WAS born in Glenmalure, son of Ned and Marie Kennedy, and have lived in the area all my life. I am married to Helena, a primary school teacher in Rathdrum, and have three sons, John, Peter and Ciarán.
Having been involved in local community organisations for over 20 years, I have always considered it important to do all I can to support development locally and my record of hard work and ability to bring projects to a successful conclusion speaks for itself. My achievements include: • Started and lead Rathdrum Playground and Outdoor
Gym Projects • Started and lead the Ballinacor Community Park Project • Community elected voluntary director of County Wicklow
Partnership Through the Rathdrum Playground and Outdoor Gym Projects and the Ballinacor Community Park Project I have helped to deliver an investment of almost €2 million into my own locality. This in addition to the €1.3 million that I have helped to deliver as a director of County Wicklow Partnership.
I do not look for your vote as somebody who has not delivered. I believe that I have delivered and with your help, if elected, can continue this work for all areas of South Wicklow. Together we can move South Wicklow forward. Together we can make a difference.
