Enniskerry Dart Team from Powerscour­t Arms gained a very valuable point last week by winning the last two games. Next Monday the team are away to Noggin Inn. The team from the The Forge lost 7-1.

The next event for members of the Enniskerry History Society, which meets under the guidance of its President John Callan is tomorrow night’s (Thursday) 8pm meeting of the Bray Cualann Historical Society in the Bray Chamber of Commerce House at which James Scannell will present his illustrate­d lecture ‘Saving the Drowning Sailors - The December 1943 Bay of Biscay Rescue by the MV Kerlogue’. All welcome to attend - admission €4.
