BRAY WAN­DER­ERS were buzzing this week af­ter their su­perb 1-0 win over Dun­dalk at the Carlisle Grounds. Un­sur­pris­ingly, there wasn’t a hint of trou­ble from ei­ther set of fans, prob­a­bly for the best con­sid­er­ing there was an Olympic boxer nearby.

Adam Nolan: “Lovely evening to be on duty for the @ Bray-Wan­der­ers game. The pitch is in great con­di­tion as usual. #Su­perSeag­ulls .”

The play­ers’ good­will over­flowed af­ter the win, as Shane O’Neill, Dean Zam­bra and Is­mahil Ak­i­nade all tweeted their de­light.

And things got even bet­ter for Ak­i­nade as he was named’s League of Ire­land player of the week for his per­for­mance against the Li­ly­whites. “Con­grat­u­la­tions to @Bray­Wan­der­ers for­ward Is­mahil Ak­i­nade - Goal's #LOI Player of the Week”

And to top off a bril­liant few days for the club, they dis­cov­ered a new fan in the shape of Repub­lic of Ire­land in­ter­na­tional Dar­ren O’Dea. Dar­ren O’Dea: “Quick Q&A! Go for it! ” Aaron Clarke: “favourite league of Ire­land team? ” O’Dea: “bray!”

Bray Wan­der­ers’ Is­mahil Ak­i­nade in ac­tion against Dun­dalk at the Carlisle Grounds last Fri­day. He was also named Player of the Week by the web­site.

Dar­ren O’Dea who con­fessed his love for Bray Wan­der­ers on Twit­ter re­cently.
