The Al­pha In/Be­tween Club: Last night (Tues­day) Ms. Avril McWil­liams hosted the April meet­ing at which the book for re­view and dis­cus­sion was l ' On Canaan's Side ' by Se­bas­tian Barry. The book for the May meet­ing will be ' Blood on the Stones ' by Alan Grainger (of this par­ish).

May Youth Mass: This Satur­day our May Youth Mass will be held at 7.30pm in St. Anne's Re­source Cen­tre. If you would like to get in­volved in the Youth Mass, please con­tact the St. Anne's Par­ish Of­fice on 01-2822277. We need Read­ers, Mu­si­cians, Hos­pi­tal­ity and So­cial Team. Come along, meet new people and make new friends.

Thank You: A sin­cere Thank You to ev­ery­one who pre­pared our Church for Easter. To all those who cleaned the Church, cleaned the linen and al­tar cloths, and the mag­nif­i­cent Easter Gar­den. To those who de­liv­ered the Easter Packs, Min­is­ters of the Word, Min­is­ters of Holy Com­mu­nion, our Or­gan­ist and Par­ish Choir, mem­bers of the UAC and mem­bers of the Habe­mus Group. To the Col­lec­tors and Counters, the Sac­ristans and our Al­tar Servers. To the Chil­dren's Liturgy team and the staff in St. Anne's Re­source Cen­tre.

Not-So-Se­cret Choir: In cel­e­bra­tion of the vi­brant com­mu­nity spirit in Shankill, we are once again pre­par­ing for the evening Mass on Pen­te­cost Sun­day - June 8th . All mu­si­cian and singers, who wish to be in­volved, are asked to meet for re­hearsal be­tween 8pm and 9pm in St. Anne's Church, each Tues­day night. People from all ages are wel­come and can look for­ward to en­joy­ing a fun so­cial gath­er­ing.

First Holy Com­mu­nion: The chil­dren from St. Anne's School, Mr. Allen's Class, will make their First Holy Com­mu­nion this Sun­day at the 10.30am Mass. We wish them and their fam­i­lies ev­ery bless­ing.

Easter Dues: Easter Dues en­velopes may be handed into the Par­ish Of­fice or the Sac­risty. Thank you for your sup­per, it is grate­fully ap­pre­ci­ated. Ac­knowl­edge­ments for Easter Dues will be is­sued dur­ing July.

Par­ish Pil­grim­age to Knock: This will take place on Satur­day June 7th - The Feast of Our Lady Queen of Apos­tles. The cost is €20 - Tea / Cof­fee and scone in­cluded. Con­tact the St. Anne's Par­ish Of­fice to book as there are limited num­ber of places. The bus will leave the church grounds on Satur­day June 7th at 7.30am.

Come Away Awhile and Rest: This af­ter­noon of prayer will take place on Sun­day i8n St. Anne's Re­source Cen­tre from 2pm to 6pm fin­ish­ing with 6pm Mass in St. Anne's Church. It will be given by Fr. Daniel DosSan­tos, Ver­bum Dei Com­mu­nity. Do­na­tion.

First Fri­day: This Fri­day is the First Fri­day of the Month and the Blessed Sacra­ment Ado­ra­tion Chapel will be open from 10.30am to 7.30pm. Priest will be avail­able on Fri­day to visit the sick and house­bound in the Par­ish. Please con­tact the St. Anne's Par­ish Of­fice if you know of some­one who would like a priest to visit them.

Tro­caire Boxes: These may be re­turned to the St. Anne's Par­ish Of­fice or the Sac­risty.

Ceme­tery Sun­day: Mass will be held in Shanganagh Ceme­tery on Sun­day May 25th at 3pm.

Fri­day Night is Mu­sic Night: This event in aid of par­ish funds take place on Fri­day May 9th at 7.30pm in St. Anne's Re­source fea­tur­ing ' With a Song in My Heart ' , a cel­e­bra­tion of the mu­sic of Richard Rogers, pre­sented by Jimmy Egling­ton. Tick­ets, €10 in­clud­ing re­fresh­ments, , are avail­able from St. Anne's Re­source Cen­tre. BOOK SALE

This Satur­day morn­ing the May First Satur­day Book Sale, which sup­ports the Shankill Old Folks As­so­ci­a­tion and Meals on Wheels , will take place be­tween 10am and 1 pm in the Shankill Old Folks Day Cen­tre, Lower Road, Shankill, on Satur­day May 3rd .

As al­ways there will be an ex­cel­lent ar­ray of books , both fic­tion and non-fic­tion, to choose from at bar­gain prices, so make a point of call­ing in as you never know what you may find. All wel­come. Do­na­tions of books, other than school/text books, ap­pre­ci­ated and ac­cept on the day. SHANKILL LI­BRARY
