Wednesday will be a cold and frosty day with little or no wind and temperatures struggling to rise in foggy areas. Wednesday night will be very cold again, temperatures down to minus three degrees overnight with light or no wind. Thursday will be another cold, foggy day with little or no lifting of the fog in places through to afternoon. The wind will pick up on Thursday night, becoming moderate northerly from the northwest in the evening. The increasing wind will be accompanied by increasing cloud too. Friday will be mainly dry. The outlook for the weekend is for continued mainly settled conditions.
