Pupils from 6th class at St Peter’s in Bray were at Leinster House last week with their teacher Ciara Brennan and some parents.

They were welcomed by Minister Simon Harris who recently visited the pupils to listen to their project on Budget 2015.

‘I was very impressed by their knowledge of our parliamentary system and I know that they would have found their visit to Leinster House to be very beneficial,’ he said.

‘During their visit, I was speaking in the Seanad on flooding issues,

in my capacity as Minister of State for the OPW.

‘I was very pleased that St Peter’s were able to watch these proceedings yesterday as the work which the OPW is currently carrying out on the River Dargle Flood Relief Scheme has a big impact on Bray.’
