Road markings sought for Sea Road in Kilcoole
CLLR Tom Fortune asked that a white line road marking be installed on Sea Road in Kilcoole to define the road better for traffic.
He also asked for better definition to highlight where the road narrows at the end of Holywell estate and across from the creche.
Engineer Ruairi O’Hanlon said that the road will be worked on.
Cllr Fortune also asked that a yellow box be installed at the top of Sea Road to facilitate traffic entering and exiting a car park.
He requested that a filter light be installed to facilitate traffic entering the newly installed junction coming from Newcastle direction and turning right down the Sea Road.
Cllr Fortune welcomed the installation of the junction there.
Cllr Fortune had campaigned for the junction for a number of years.
