Last weekend saw three teams in action.

The U9s drew 3-3 with a strong Arklow Town team in a classic game of football on Saturday.

Luke Honan was in great form and he hit two with Bobby Free also hitting the back of the net.

This was a brilliant all-round team performance with manager Andy Free doing his best to give all his large panel of players a run but Daniel Mornaghan and Ben Morgan stood out along with the gaol scorers.

The U10s had a vital 2-0 win at home to Rathnew on Saturday morning to stay on top of their league.

This was a very even match with loads of one to one battles in all positions but the Glens dug deep and came out on top.

Kieren Griffith scored both the goals in the first half with some lovely buildup play especially on the second goal from the midfielders combining with the front men.

Charlie Ward played a stormer in between the posts in the second half keeping out Rathnew as they poured forward looking for a way back in the game.

Well done to all of the twelve players involved in this match, they all played their hearts out and supported their team mates on and off the pitch!

The 11s were away to Rathnew and suffered a 4-1 defeat.

Luke Kelly continued his recent good form of late with another goal and he was best on the day along with Sam Morgan and Rohan Byrne.

Despite the defeat, manager Karl Bradshaw was delighted with the effort put in by the team against a side who are running away with the league.

The seniors had no game as their goalkeeper Stephen Pepper was in the Wicklow League Squad for the Wicklow League clash v A.U.L in the Carlisle Grounds on Sunday.

It is a great honour for the club that Stephen was selected and they are proud of the man they call ‘The Pepp’!
