Launch of the new Oc­tavia

WICK­LOW’S Skoda deal­er­ship, Sin­nott Autos has an­nounced a new en­try-point into the hugely popular Oc­tavia range, with the in­tro­duc­tion of an al­ter­na­tive 1.6-litre TDI diesel en­gine pro­duc­ing 90bhp.

The new model is po­si­tioned €700 be­low the best-sell­ing 1.6 TDI, 105bhp unit and of­fers buy­ers less con­cerned with per­for­mance the op­tion to up­grade to bet­ter equipped mod­els for a sim­i­lar price.

‘ This was a very popular choice in the pre­vi­ous gen­er­a­tion of the Oc­tavia and now looks set to com­mand a large por­tion of Oc­tavia sales, as it will of­fer a lower price-point of €21,745 for buy­ers. The car is now avail­able to or­der in the deal­er­ship as part of the 151 range,’ says Stephen Healy, Gen­eral Man­ager, Sin­nott Autos.

With CO2 emis­sions of 109g/km for this new en­gine of­fer­ing, the 90bhp Oc­tavia re­sides in Mo­tor Tax Band A3 (€190) and has fuel-econ­omy fig­ures of 4.1 l/100km.

The new model is now avail­able for or­der in the deal­er­ship on the Dublin Road, Wick­low town where mo­torists can avail of spe­cial in­tro­duc­tory of­fers for new 2015 pur­chases.

Sin­nott Autos is also of­fer­ing fi­nance rates from 3.9 per cent APR as well as ex­cep­tional trade-in al­lowances.
