Wick­low choir to sing at na­tional con­cert

A WICK­LOW choir set up to help lo­cal res­i­dents liv­ing with Parkin­son’s Dis­ease will par­tic­i­pate in a na­tional Christ­mas con­cert in Dublin next week­end.

The Move4Parkin­sons ‘Voices of Hope’ choir which is based in Ash­ford and has mem­bers from all over the county will be one of a num­ber of groups tak­ing part in the 2014 ‘Car­ols by Can­dle­light’ at Balally Parish Church in Dublin on Sun­day, De- cem­ber 14 at 4.20 p.m.

Ad­mis­sion is free for this fes­tive con­cert which will fea­ture spe­cial guests Shay Healy, the A Glor Gospel Choir and the Move4Parkin­sons set-danc­ing group.

The Wick­low choir meets ev­ery Mon­day at Ash­ford Com­mu­nity Hall. For in­for­ma­tion about join­ing please call (01) 2950060.

Move4Parkin­son’s is an Ir­ish char­ity ded­i­cated to pro­vid­ing in­for­ma­tion and support to peo­ple with Parkin­son’s on how to im­prove their qual­ity of life through self-man­age­ment.
