Wicklow choir to sing at national concert
A WICKLOW choir set up to help local residents living with Parkinson’s Disease will participate in a national Christmas concert in Dublin next weekend.
The Move4Parkinsons ‘Voices of Hope’ choir which is based in Ashford and has members from all over the county will be one of a number of groups taking part in the 2014 ‘Carols by Candlelight’ at Balally Parish Church in Dublin on Sunday, De- cember 14 at 4.20 p.m.
Admission is free for this festive concert which will feature special guests Shay Healy, the A Glor Gospel Choir and the Move4Parkinsons set-dancing group.
The Wicklow choir meets every Monday at Ashford Community Hall. For information about joining please call (01) 2950060.
Move4Parkinson’s is an Irish charity dedicated to providing information and support to people with Parkinson’s on how to improve their quality of life through self-management.
